Frequently asked questions
Are the times for my place?
Each event shows the time in the time zone of the place you have chosen. Moon phases and conjunctions happen at the same moment everywhere, only the clock time differs.
What is a conjunction?
Two objects passing close to each other in the sky as seen from Earth. They are not really close in space.
What is an opposition?
When a planet is opposite the Sun in the sky. It rises at sunset, is up all night and is near its brightest.
